The event was held on the 18 November 2023 despite challenges. Initially they were supposed to be held in Durban, due to unforeseen circumstances SAMAs had to move to a different province in a short space. We congratulate the organisers for pulling it off.
Ntokozo Mbambo was nominated for Album of the year and best female artist.
Kelly Khumalo did not win any award and felt like she should have won instead of Ntokozo Mbambo. She woke up insulting everyone to a point of saying “even Ntokozo know she is not the one, numbers don’t lie”.
